Refund Policy

Oct 4, 2026

Refunds are pro-rated by the credits you have not used, and can be asked for within 7 days of a payment. A refund closes the account. This policy covers monthly and yearly plans, renewals and credit packs.

How much is refunded

Refund = amount paid × (credits from that payment not yet used ÷ credits included in that payment)

  • Every action that spends credits counts as use: summaries, speech-to-text, mind maps, flashcards, comment digests and questions.
  • Credits returned to your balance automatically after a failed generation do not count as used.
  • When you hold credits from more than one purchase, the ones that expire soonest are spent first. We work out which payment each charge came from using your credit ledger.
  • Example: a $14.90 Pro month includes 1,000 credits. With 250 of them used, the refund is $14.90 × 750 ÷ 1,000 = $11.18.
  • If every credit from a payment has been used, there is nothing left to refund for it.
  • The free credits given when you sign up are not part of any payment and are not refundable.

The 7-day window

You can ask for a refund within 7 calendar days of the payment it is for. After that the payment is no longer refundable. You can still cancel a plan at any time to stop future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

After a refund: the account is closed

When a refund goes through:

  • the plan or credit pack it paid for ends immediately, and any remaining credits are void;
  • your account is closed and deleted, along with its workspace — saved videos, uploads and history;
  • order and payment records are kept, as the law requires for accounting.

If you only want to stop paying, cancel the plan instead of asking for a refund: cancelling keeps your account and everything in it.

Processing time

Refunds go back to the original payment method. When they arrive depends on your bank or card issuer, usually within 5–10 business days.

Exceptions

We may decline a refund where a payment shows signs of abuse: heavy use made in order to ask for a refund, repeat sign-ups to collect free credits, accounts suspended for breaking the Terms of Service, and payments already disputed with a bank (those are settled through the dispute instead).

If a charge was made in error, or a feature did not work as described, tell us and we will put it right — that is not limited to 7 days. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the law where you live.
